Meditation, music and healing have been great loves for me since childhood.  My parents are from different cultures, my father Indian and my mother Welsh.  Both encouraged and supported my interest in matters of the spirit. 

In 1981, while studying at The Royal College of Music in London, I discovered the Osho meditations and these became a daily practice.  I experienced a huge improvement in my health and well being and started to attend many spiritual workshops.  Soon, I was assisting in these workshops also.

In 1987, I became a founder member of the Laughing Rainbow Mystery School, based in Lyme Regis, UK.  The Mystery School is a global group of light helpers who have worked, played and grown together and I have been the Administrative Director since 1999.  As part of my work with Laughing Rainbow, I have travelled to Japan, Ireland, Lanzarote, New Mexico, Goa, Pune and the Greek islands for Planetary Healing. 

Within this Mystery School,  I have explored my inner self deeply, using many techniques, especially the Colour Rays.  These Rays, all 147 of them, highlight every nook and cranny of your being so there is nowhere to hide!  But shining the light on the shadow creates great expansion and flowering. As I fill myself with more light and awareness, I find I am bursting to share my gifts and love with others.

I am now: a Colour Ray Master, a Practitioner and Teacher;
a Shamanic Practitioner trained by Chetna Lawless, a Shamanic Teacher trained by Sandra Ingerman, author of many books on Shamanism;
a member of the Vision Voyages Shamanic Practitioner Alliance;
a Usei Reiki Practitioner.  The calling to Shamanic work came in 2003 and balances the esoteric work of the Colours Rays in a wonderful, earthing way. I practise core Shamanism and find it an ongoing source of inspiration for myself and others. I completed the two year teacher training course with Sandra Ingerman in Scotland in May 2016.  I feel privileged to have worked with such a brilliant teacher and enriched from meeting wonderful Shamanic Practitioners from all around the globe.

I teach and play music (www.sudhisalooja.com), especially violin and voice. I participate in and coach a local choir - and play violin and sing for special occasions, such as weddings and funerals. Being able to touch others with music is a huge joy for me. I have also played music for meditation in the Osho Meditation Resort in Pune, India and Osho Leela, Dorset.

From my home in Lyme Regis I look straight onto the ocean, in all its moods and colours.  Here I teach music, give healing sessions and lead Shamanic Journeying & Colour Rays Illumination groups. Since the lockdown in 2021, I have started teaching Online Courses as well which are proving a great success. It's such a joy to reach so many from around the globe who would not be able to travel over to the UK - and the energy of connection is profound.

I feel so full of gratitude for all that Existence showers on me: friendship, healing, music and the sheer wonder of nature's beauty.
